New Parent Group

Brimbank City Council welcomes you and your family to be part of the

First Steps New Parent Group program.

This is a free facilitated seven-week program for new parents.

The aim of the group is to support you in your role as a new parent, and to

give you an opportunity to meet and socialise with other new parents in the area.

The program covers a range of topics including:

Groups run in English, Vietnamese and Burmese.

and your baby

• Being a parent in Australia

• Helping baby sleep and settle

• Food, your baby and the family

• Looking after yourself

• Getting to know your baby

• Play, more than fun and games
