Saturday 26 October 2024.

You can only vote once in a municipality, no matter how

many properties you own or occupy and must be enrolled to

vote before 4pm on Friday 30 August 2024. To check your

Nominations to run as a candidate close at 12noon on

Tuesday 24 September. The Municipal Association of Victoria

is organising Community & Candidate Information Sessions.

A session will be held for Metropolitan West at Wyndham City

Council on 5 June, 6.30-8.30pm. Registrations are essential.

Our electoral structure will change to a single-member

ward structure before the October 2024 local government general

elections. Brimbank will have a subdivided electoral structure of

11 wards, each represented by one councillor, totalling 11 councillors.

This is a result of the Victorian Government putting into effect the

recommendations from electoral structure reviews for 39 councils

to comply with the

Local Government Act 2020
