BRIMBANK SENIORS OPERATIONAL GRANTS 2024/2025
GUIDELINES

What are the Brimbank Seniors Operational Grants?
The Brimbank Seniors Operational Grants support Brimbank seniors groups
towards their day-to-day operating costs.
The Brimbank Seniors Operational Grants contribute towards Brimbank Council’s
Together We are Brimbank Plan (including Community Vision 2040, Council Plan
2021 – 2025, Municipal Public and Health wellbeing Plan).
Who is eligible to apply? You should:
Be a not-for-profit incorporated group or organisation.
Supply incorporation number
OR
be under the auspice of an incorporated
group or organisation.
o
If auspiced, include details of the auspicing group or organisation.
Have current Public Liability Insurance (PLI) cover for the duration of the
funding.
Have an Australian Business Number (ABN)
OR
provide a Statement by a
Supplier form.
Have independent membership of more than 15 people.
Be based in Brimbank, meet regularly
AND
majority of members must live
in Brimbank.
Majority of members aged 65 years or older and 50 years or older for
Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people.

How much can we apply for?
Up to $1,000.
Application Timeline
Applications OPEN: Wednesday 29 May 2024
Applications CLOSE: Sunday 14 July 2024 at 11:59pm.
How do we apply?
1. If you would like to complete an online application form please visit
www.brimbank.vic.gov.au/grants, select Seniors Operational Grants
2024/25 application portal, and follow further instructions.
2. Should you require a physical application form, please contact the
Community Grants Officer at 9249 4036.
3. Before submitting your application, please check that you have met the
eligibility criteria listed on page 1. Any supporting documents should be
attached to the application form.
4. Applications need to be submitted by the closing date, Sunday 14 July 2024.
5. Late or incomplete applications may not be considered.
How do we know if we have been successful?
All applicants will receive a letter or email notifying them of their grant
application outcome in November 2024. Information about successful
applications will also be posted on the Council’s website

Please return your completed application form using one of the methods listed
below by
Sunday 14 July 2024 at 11:59pm
1. Online Applications visit
www.brimbank.vic.gov.au/grants
go to the Seniors
Operational Grants 2024/2025 application portal and follow further
instructions.
2. Should you require a physical application form, please contact the
Community Grants Development Officer at 9249 4036 and we will post it to
your address. Use the enclosed reply paid envelope to send the application
back to Council.
3. Print, complete and post your application to:
