What is
In2Sport Brimbank is a subsidy
program to help children living in
Brimbank take part in community
sport, regardless of financial
circumstances.
Children aged six to 18 years may be
able to apply for financial assistance
to contribute to club membership
fees. The program aims to fund 75
per cent – or up to $200 - of club
membership fees.
In2Sport is an inclusive program,
suitable for applications from people
living with disability.
Am I eligible?
To be eligible for In2sport the
applicant must:
• Live in Brimbank
• Be aged six to 18 years
(at the time of application)
• Have their name listed on a
valid Health Care Care/Pension
Concession Card (a copy to
be provided/uploaded at time
of application)
• Choose a Brimbank-based club
How do I
get involved?
Step 1
Complete the online
In2Sport Application Form at
brimbank.vic.gov.au/In2Sport
You must upload a copy of your
family’s valid Health Care Card or
Pension Concession Card as part of
the application.
* If you need a hard copy, please email
in2sport@brimbank.vic.gov.au or visit
a Council Customer Service Centre to
complete an application. Make sure
you bring your Health Care Card/
Pension Concession Card.
Step 2
Council will assess and process your
application. You will be notified of
your application outcome via email.
The notification process can take
up to four weeks after you submit
your application. If your application is
approved, you will have to join your
nominated club within six weeks to
be eligible for funding.
Step 3
Present your approval letter (sent via
email), to your nominated club when
joining and pay the membership
fee, minus the approved In2Sport
Brimbank funding.
Step 4
The club will invoice Council for the
approved fee subsidy.

Application periods are divided
into Summer and Winter sports.
Successful applicants are only
eligible to receive funding once
per financial year.

• Based in Brimbank
• Not for profit
• Affiliated with their state
sporting body

What else do I need
to know?
• Funding will help cover the cost to
join a nominated sports club, which
include related costs identified by
the club and approved by Council.
• All applicants must meet the
eligibility criteria listed in order
to successfully apply and receive
funding assistance.
• Funding is limited and subject to
availability. Along with funding
applications, individuals are
encouraged to contact their local
clubs to seek alternative subsidies
at club level.
• Fee subsidies are for the
nominated registered season only.
• No retrospective fees will be
paid inclusive of uniform and
equipment fees.
• There is no limit to the number of
applications per family, provided
the criteria are met.
• Applications for year-round sports
can be considered across both
application periods, subject to
funding availability.
