Greenhouse emissions factors as per Australian National Greenhouse Accounts Factors 2023 published by the
Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water.
•
Weekly graphs show the first 4 weeks of the respective month.
•
The “BAWC Energy Utilization Intensity (EUI)” is based on a conditioned usable area (CUA) of 9,761m2.
•
The “Reference Energy Utilization Intensity (EUI)” is based on the data presented in the Building Performance
Assessment report prepared by LCI in June 2023, which uses peer development performance data relevant to BAWC’s
location published in “Energy Performance and Water Usage of Aquatic Centres” by JD Duverge, RMIT University 2019.

The Site electrical demand is based on 15-minute interval meter data of the site electricity (kWh) consumption. The
presented electrical demand is therefore an average demand for a 15-minute time interval.
•
Due to current calibration issues with the thermal energy meter on the gas boiler, the thermal energy output of the
boiler was estimated based on a boiler efficiency of 85% and a calorific value of 38.61MJ/m
3
.
